RAILA ODINGA PROVES CRITICS WRONG THAT HE'S STILL THE KING OF LUO POLITICS AS MOSES KAJWANG TRIUMPHS #HOMABAYDECIDES
After series of speculations and media illusions that had envisioned a tough race in the hotly contested Homabay senatorial position that was left vacant on the death of Otieno Kajwang the day finally came and everything went the opposite way as anticipated.
What was thought to be a two horse race turned into a horse-donkey race. Being an ODM stronghold,the party was expected to carry the day however the rebels from the party spearheaded by PhilipOkundi was seen as a strong contender who would make ODM break a sweat but this couldn't live to pass as everything ended up being nothing but a wet dream.
Moses Kajwang the ODM's candidate had won the elections as early as 6PM when the gates for voting had opened. At the end of business,Moses had thrashed,smashed,squashed and minced closest rival Okundi with over 100000 votes a margin that only a miracle would bridge.
The win sent a clear message to ODM rebels who'd thought playing tough would play out,the otherwise. Kajwangs win further goes to stamp Raila Amollo authority and influence in Luo politics. He's still the king and matchmaker in Nyanza politics. 
If to be replicated into other regions,it will take dozens of years to dislodge Raila from his currently held throne,he's still the man to beat he's still the man to watch.
The win is not Moses' per se but Raila's in essence.

10. Kyuna Estate.

The nearby Kibarage slum provides casual labourers to the estate. It is located north of Westland’s between Waiyaki Way, Loresho Ridge and Kyuna Road with the main access road being the Lower Kabete Road. 
 
Kyuna is largely viewed as an upmarket area with a few old fashioned houses complete with servants’ quarters. This estate has few apartments, but is dotted with many mansions, double storey homes and villas with beautiful gardens. However, a few older buildings can be spotted. Most of the houses here are four and five bedroomed.

The body of Fidel Odinga arrived in Kisumu aboard a Kenya Air force plane on Friday morning. 
 
The body was received by thousands of mourners who had waited patiently from the wee hours of the morning to pay their last respects to their fallen hero. 
 
What mesmerised thousands of mourners was the fact that Fidel's body was airlifted from Nairobi to Kisumu aboard Kenya Air force 212 plane. Apart from the body, the plane that touched down at 10.10 am, carried the widow Lwam Gatechew, Fidel's younger brother Raila Odinga Junior, Lwam's family members and friends. 
 
There was another plane, Kenya Air force one 306 which arrived at 10am carrying the former PM Raila Odinga. He was accompanied by former Westlands MP Fred Gumo, Siaya Senator James Orengo, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Chairman John Mbadi, Raila's elder brother Oburu Oginga and other friends. 
 
Earlier, there was a military chopper which had arrived before the two planes, then a Kenya Wildlife plane too, to set pace for the two planes carrying the bereaved families. 
 
There were also two charter planes ferrying Fidel's friends.

Security was tight at the Kisumu International Airport as three land cruisers carrying General Service Unit (GSU) officers standby and at least four GSU and Kenya Police Service officers situated at every 100 metres from the airport to the Jomo Kenyatta Sportsground where viewing of the body was going to take place. 
 
The Airport's parking lot was full with relatives and friend's cars that had come to pay the last respects to Fidel. 
 
There were also two National Youth Service (NYS) lorries carrying officers attached to the elite RECCE squad. 
 
Kisumu Rugby Football club (KRFC) players were also at the airport donning their jerseys in memory of their fallen Chairman. 
 
Mourners were repulsed to avoid confusion that would have led to slow movement of the body from the airport to Jomo Kenyatta Sports ground.

Paul Kobia was early this week heard bragging to some patrons and the owner of Buffet Park, Mr Muya that he killed Hon Raila Odinga’s son, Fidel Odinga. In one of the most stupid showmanship, the thug and runaway killer who has connections right inside State House confessed to the patrons that he killed Fidel because he organised his assault. 
 
The confessions were heard by friends of Fidel who have revealed this to security officers. Kobia made the confession on Monday night at Buffet park. The security officers have refused to act because Paul Kobia enjoys State House protection. He moves around in a convoy of cars including police chase cars. Paul Kobia is also always armed with weapons including shotguns and pistols. 
 
It is not clear why Paul Kobia enjoys such kind of state protection. He is known to be a friend of Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko who has constantly refuted this saying that he is not a friend of Kobia.</div>
