NE Exclusive: Citizen's Machachari Star Bahati Lands A Role in an Hollywood Movie

We have just received one of the best news yet. Kamau Mbaya aka Baha is set to hit the silver screens pretty sooner than expected. The young actor recently lost his mum Wanade who was also an actress in the popular mother in law drama series. Baha and his mum lived in the Mathare slums as he was growing and he was raised by a single oatenr who is the mum,as fate could later have it,they both found their way into the acting industry where their stars shined bright. Unfortunately,his mum succumbed to cancer illness earlier this year. Left an orphan,RMS,the lead employer of the mum and Baha himself,offered to cater for his and a brother's education.

The death of his mum didn't stop him from going on,he picked up the pieces and strode on. Making appearances in several local productions including adverts and TV shows. His aggressiveness in the industry has earned him admiration from Hollywood and they are now targeting the young talent. A reliable source from the nation theatre of Kenya reveals the behind scenes exclusively to NE,the informant who sought anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter confirms that An American movie producer had reached out to them through a local actors portal looking for a young actor to appear on movie to be shot later. The producer after going through the available actors in the portal pointed out Baha as the best bet and his character would best blend with the script. The movie is to be shot in Sierra Leone in December and its about fighting child slavery and abuse. The characters which the producer was looking out for clearly suits him. The lead role in the movie is one Forest Whittaker. If approved this could see Baha's star shine brightest. He will still have to go through auditioning later this month.
