KDF Releases Names Of Looting Officers

After a series of denial statements, the army seems to have finally given in and owned up that to an extent looting was done.

In a press address Karangi the army boss released the names of the soldiers who had been caught with looted goods and sent to jail with dismissal from the force in effect.

At the same time Julius Karangi says there was no shootout between KDF soldiers and GSU Recce unit at Westgate, terms it a media creation.

Victor Otieno and Victor Ashiundu both were found guilty, dismissed from the service and jailed according to the army boss. The third, who is being probed, is Isaiah Wanjala.

    1. am not a kdf soldier but still i would advise that we go cautious on this issue ya kuvuta ma infantry wa KDF in the name of that they looted.so much happens out there that remains closed while they are out there fighting for peace.they enlisted to serve in the KDF.To simply die for our counry and you are here baying for their blood in the name of looting.they are the best of our infantry in the East and Central AFRICA yet in the name of looting, they are sacked.Do you care to know what this guys undergo fighting the Al-shabaab.We need them to fight the Al-Shabaab.am not justifying their actions but let us be serious,we need each and every KDF soldier to fight the Al-Shabaab.For the KDF,up the ability of your snipers. For me,i think the war with Al-Shabaab has taken a new version, its 'A WAR OF THE SNIPERS'.
