SHARIF MAKABURI Applauds Wetgate Attackers Says It Was Well Deserved

As Kenyans mourns the loss of their loved ones and the security tools put into place to prevent any further attack from the terrorists who late last month massacred innocent people at the Westgate mall,one Kenyan seems to be thinking on the contrary.

Makaburi who is on the police watch list is an established accomplice of slain cleric Sheikh Aboud Rogo who was assassinated last year by unknown assailants though the fingers pointed at ATPU.

A cleric himself,an extremist to be precise Makaburi and Rogo have been linked to the Al Shabab as being part of the larger syndicate of recruiting young Kenyans into the terror group in Somalia.

In a recent investigative piece done by KTN's Mohammed Ali,the Sharif feared for his life saying he risks getting assassinated by the police anytime. He expressed his innocence and distanced himself over having any links with the terror group.

Last week unknown gunmen,gunned down yet another radical cleric Sheikh Ibrahim whom police admits has been under the terrorism watch list,together with three other people believed to be his followers were killed in cold blood. Amongst the first people to arrive at the scene of murder just the same way as Aboud Rogo's was Makaburi who according to the police tampered with the crime scene by removing bodies and ordering for their burials before investigations into their deaths could be accomplished and cause determined.

He was first to point fingers at the police and accused them as the executioners. What followed the following day was unrest in Mombasa that ended in four people losing their lives,seven injured and a church burned amongst many other collateral damages inflicted by the rioting Muslim youths protesting against the Sheikh's killing.

However the salt to the injury has been yet again added by the radical cleric Makaburi,talking to a BBC reporter,he justifies the Westgate attack,"I support the westgate attackers,we as the muslims cannot sit back and do nothing about it while our brothers and sisters gets slaughtered worldwide,the Westgate attack was well deserved" Says Makaburi.

He is a self confessed jihadist and the angry sentiments he gave seems to go into complimenting the accusations labelled against him as an Al Shabab accomplice.
