Nairobi governor on Wednesday hosted the KPL 2013 champions in his office to extend his congratulatory hand .

In the meeting,Kidero as the president of Nairobi County promised to erect a monument of Gor Mahia whom the team was named after in his remembrance. Gor Mahia fans have been gathering and using the Tom Mboya monument in town and should Gor's get eventually erected then the attention would be shifted.

Kidero says the monument has been logged into the budget and will be ready by next year.

At the same time he pledges more millions into stadium and facilities upgrade summing up to millions.

He congratulated the team and promised to support and see the team remain best in the country.
