They might not be the best of friends at least going by the public perception,it is no secret that Uhuru's government has even threatened to break ties with US a longtime ally of Kenya following their differences in stands on ICC matters. At one point,the hatred got to a point where statehouse nearly snubbed a call from the Whitehouse. All said,Obama was one of the many leaders who congratulated Uhuru on his election as the president.
As much as they might be having divergent ideological stands,the two leaders share some similarities.
Did you know that both are left handed,yes the two are and funnily when they both bumped into each other following protocol mishap in South Africa at Mandela memorial,they had a handshake with right hands.
Both are smokers,Obama has been battling to stop smoking and it is believed he stopped since he joined in,during his university days his peers say he used to smoke marijuana as well,not anything shocking when you are in the US,Bush used to smoke it in the Whitehouse. Uhuru though unknown to many since he doesn't appear on camera doing it also smokes though his love for alcohol is obviously known,his fried Mike Sonko recently revealed that they both hangout with the president after work and have someJameson whisky which happens to be his favourite.
Both born in 1961, the two are age mates only difference is born in different places,Uhuru born in riches, Obama not.
Both are presidents,Uhuru Kenya,Obama USA now there is something unique,UK is the 4th president,Obama on the other hand 44th.
Both are Kenyans with Obama having a Kenyan father and US' mother,Uhuru parents both of the land
