In most products they have labels "read instructions before use" this is not limited to that only. Next time you order for a drink at that palatial bar you might just want to enquire about the price first.

A lady by the name Ms Jane is counting her losses after paying for a drink she didn't plan for. Like any other woman, the lady walked into the Sarova Panafric Hotel with her date and she ordered for her favourite drink, unfortunately, her choice was unavailable and instead the waitress suggested King George V whisky, she ordered double tots as her partner ordered for a cup of coffee.

All was well until they were done and requested for the bill which was unbelievably standing at Sh36518. The man offered to clear the bill and put shs4,000 on the table, having mistaken the bill to be shs3, 651 instead of the actually bill of shs36,518.

The fella couldn't foot the bill as that was way out of his planned budget forcing the lady to give out her credit card to foot it. She complained saying initially she heard or thought a tot of the whisky was Sh.500 and according to the hotel's prices a tot of the drink she took is Sh.8,500 the whole bottle is Sh.70,000.

Lesson for ladies to learn.
