There was a dirty drama at Kisumu's popular night club Signature involving few gay men that ended up in a bloody fight. The shocking incidence that caught many revelers jaws dropped took place on Saturday. According to Simon Oloo a  frequent reveler at the club and who witnessed the whole drama.the fight broke after one gay busted his partner making out with yet another gay at the club's private lounge.he was acting on a tip off from other gay members who were in the club by then and spotted the cheating 'girlfriend'.

Speaking to Nairobi Exposed,Oloo narrated how it all went down,"we were just minding our own business like everybody else would before the drama at the private lounge attracted attention, the gay men both identified as Shah,Makoha and the other one Vinny got into a cat fight, apparently Shah busted his 'girlfriend whom he kept on referring to as sweety cheating on him with the other man Makoha,he(Shah) was screaming and crying at his girlfriend for hurting him and all that."

The growing crowd on realizing it was gay men involved they immediately wanted to lynch them given anti-gay-ism notion,in fact one of the ladies there even stripped naked and opened her private parts up as an offer to the gay men to go straight. On sensing danger, the three were quickly whisked away to safety by the security before the angry crowd could pounce on them but they didn't go scratch free as some irate member threw broken bottle at them. They were both driven away and just before the boyfriend slit Makoha's wrist with unidentified sharp object for stealing his girlfriend.

According to Loch Otieno a concerned resident in Kisumu, the town for sometime now has been witnessing several gay related dramas with gay men filtered all over the city. Like Nairobi,Loch says the homosexuals comes out alive at night and are doing their acts with no shame,"we ask the police to move in quick to stop this stupidity or we will impose our own Museveni rules(in ref to anti-gay law) and slash them on sight with no mercy,we have to protect our culture, wanawake wamejaa hapa na matako kubwa kubwa, nini mwanaume anatafuta kwa matako ya mwanaume mwenzake? tutawamaliza" Sounded a warning  Loch,a street vendor in  the city talking to Nairobi Exposed.

Emannuel Akia,a health facilitator with an NGO that has been offering counseling services to the locals, homosexuality has taken toll and the numbers crunching by the day,"it is no secret but a worrying trend the rate at which homosexuality is thriving here is wanting, from our records,in the month of February only,we handled about 176 gays related issues and mind you those are reported what about the unreported. With high exposure involved the gays are highly exposed to contracting HIV during sex than the heterosexual, this development is derailing our fight against HIV/AIDS which is a major problem here" Says Emamnuel while speaking to Nairobi Exposed.

What do you think about the development in Kisumu and should something be done to that effect?
