There's either a breakage of links, lack of communication or something of such kind between the jubilee principles. Just on his anticipated arrival Raila and his CORD battalion issued an a notice to the government to convene an all inclusive national dialogue meeting with them before the lapse of 60 days period to steer a better way for Kenyans.
Barely minutes after the speech, firing DP Ruto retaliated to the CORD's calls while in Narok on Saturday where he said that the ruling coalition did not need CORD to run the government and dismissed calls for a national dialogue conference.
“We will not give in to demands from CORD politicians to enter into dialogue. The Government is determined to deliver on the promises it made to Kenyans before the last General Election,” said Ruto.
Surprisingly, the following day during Madaraka celebrations in Nyayo stadium, the president responded to the CORD call and heeded to an all sectors inclusive national dialogue to to discuss challenges facing the country.
"We are ready to sit down with our opposition brothers and all stakeholders in this country to discuss and find better solutions for betterment of our country " Said Uhuru in his speech.
His stand contradicted His deputy 's sensational stern stand of not having time to sit down with the opposition. The statements conflicts have humiliated Ruto whom has since turned out to be blowing hot air, answering to CORD before confirming a stand with the senior.
This new development has caused a mocking platform on Ruto especially from his opponents whom have nicknamed him Hussein Machozi. How could the president humiliate him that much? Maybe he needs to take a minute next time to discuss with the president before making stand.
