Explosives  material have been found in Majengo, Nairobi, According to the witnesses police suspect some of the explosives were used in Westgate attack that has ended in the loss of many lives.
Bomb experts have been dispatched to the scene and have collected the explosive materials in Majengo.
Locals in the city's Islamic estate  alerted police after they found suspicious material on top of a roof in one of the houses in the area.
Majengo has been on the hotspots list for housing potential terrorists,with reports indicating Al Shabaab's recruitment largely goes there.
Following the Saturday's attack residents say many youths who are well known to be be affiliates and had returned from Somalia where they underwent militia training,fled to unknown destinations as police laid search in the estate.
The country stays on high alert with government assuring security and affirming the borders are secured to prevent entry of weapons.
