GANGSTER Armed With A PISTOL Holds 15 POLICEMEN For 3 HOURS

On Tuesday morning an incident similar to the westgate attack was witnessed at Easton Apartments located along Jogoo road.

The pursuit for a notorious thug led the police there creating a battlefield. According to police,the man has been robbing motorists along the busy Jogoo road at gun point especially during heavy traffic snarl up.

After several days of setting traps,he was finally caught up with and ran to the feted apartment to seek refuge from the firing police.

He first tried to gain entry into the first door but unluckily for him,it was locked. With the police steadily closing in on him,he ran upstairs and at this point around 4-5am several gunshots were heard that woke up the residents.

He holed himself up at the rooftop safe and engaged police in a gun battle that would then last for 3 hours.

Juggling between taking down the thug and avoiding fatality from stray bullets on the residents,it proved to be a task,a reinforcement of sharp shooters from the police were called.

After a three hours long of gun battle between the gangsta armed with a cessca pistol and over fifteen police officers armed with AK-47s,the man was finally shot dead from his hideout in the rooftop.
