Drama As Bride Faints After The Fiancé Showed Up In A BODA BODA

In Wante village Mayuge district in Uganda one bride was happy and  looking forward to have the time of her life when the marriage with her fiancé would formally be sealed off.

Ms Jamawa Nambi like any other bride was looking forward to a glamourous day,being a first born in the family,her folks sacrificed a lot to make her day. However things went ugly when the fiancé showed up in unexpected means.

Mr Ali Malik the bridegroom checked in on a boda boda something that shocked her wife to be. The two who have a daughter together had been cohabiting and decided to go formal,when the news reached the bride who was going through make up sessions that her fiancé came in a boda boda,she broke into tears and then fainted.

"Something must be really wrong,he was to come here with his friends and cars I even overheard his conversation with the taxi man" said Nambi before she passed out.

Apparently the lady had built the notion to her family as well that Malik would show up in a convoy but contrary to her expectations,the fella showed up alone and came riding on a boda boda.

His arrival went unnoticed as he stood unattended to by the roadside where the boda guy had packed,luckily the brother-in-law noticed him and alerted the other family members.

The trouble was just starting and some family members suggested that the man be sent away. However after quick interventions by elders,he was ushered in. The bride's family were fully prepared and according to The Monitor had slaughtered a cow,two goats that were meant to feed Malik and his friends as well as other members invited.

As if turning up in a boda boda and alone weren't enough Malik presented Shs100,000 [approx ksh.3,500] as bride price and gave 10 tunics (kanzus),10 kg of sugar
and 20 sachets of salt, as gifts.

Given time to explain  himself,Malik said he opted to spend less on the dowry/weeding to save money and open up a business for their daughter. Gassed up,a function that was to go for hours was cut short and Nambi was handed over to him and both left in the scandalous boda boda only one hour after his arrival.
