Following high court judge directive that the two Nairobi governor and woman rep Rachel Shebesh to work out an out of court resolution into their conflict, they failed to come on a common ground prompting the opening of the cases' files in the court.
Reportedly,Shebesh demanded a sh.100m compensation from Kidero on the infamous gubernatorial slap. The governor is said to have refused on accepting and giving in to her demands opting for the court's way.
In a meeting in Kisumu where CORD leaders including the governor himself were present, they assured him of their support and at the same time warned him against having a close working relationship with the jubilee whom they alleged are determined to bring him down,"they are not happy that CORD is in charge of a county which is the capital city and controls over 60% of the country's GDP,they are now more than ever to bring you down and take the seat" warned Kalonzo to Kidero.
CORD leader Rala Odinga alleged that the assault case raised by Shebesh is an instigation by the jubilee government to grab the governor by his balls into submission. Shebesh had demanded a 100million compensation to drop the case,Raila told Kidero not to pay the amount terming it exorbitant and should instead pursue the case to it's end and pay the penalty,"that slap is too expensive,I have personally talked to Kidero and told him not to pay the sh.100m demand and rather let the court decide" said Raila.
