The renowned writer has been out here lately making headlines for all the gay reasons,this was after he hopped out of the closet and made his homosexuality public something which has put him on various dailies including international plartforms given the situation and stand of Africa on homosexuality which is taken as a demonic behaviour in the local context.
Local media has been a wash with Binyavanga news with nearly all stations lining behind him literally for an interview. Wednesday night the writer was a guest on KTN's Jeff Koinange Live,a popular talk show in Kenya that discusses curent afffairs and a steer of variuos progressive agendas. Gay in Africa being the topic,Binyavanga a self confessed non believer in God used the absence of any spiritual leader in the forum to mock and ridicule the Church and God.
When asked by the host if he would wish to end up in heaven given that homosexuality is deemed ungodly,the writer laughed off saying,"which god,to me god is non existence and heaven is also non existence but just a creation of some discilusioned people selling the idea to unquestionin people,i dont want to go to heaven,they play boring violin music and i hate that,when you people will be up their listening to boring violin music we will be down here booging to some good music*imitates twerking*" laughed off the gay writer.
The sentiments obviously didn't go well with the viewers who felt insulted.
