A man arrested with bhang seedlings has said he cooks the leaves and eats them with ugali daily. The suspect from Karundu in Tetu, Nyeri county was arrested on Thursday  and bhang seedlings recovered.

Area subcounty commissioner Herman Shambi said the man is the main supplier of bhang in the area. “He has admitted that he cooks the leaves and eats them with ugali. He says the meal gives him extra energy,” Shambi said.

The suspect allegedly confessed to planting bhang in the Aberdare Forest. Police went to the forest to search for the drug. Shambi said the man will be charged in court.

What do you think about his excuse
