Luhya politics and the calls for its unity continues to pull heads with latest stir in ODM following Ababu's rebellion escalating the discussion.
The latest figure to add his voice to the trending fiasco is one Hon. Raphael Wanjala former MP Budalangi and arch rival to the sitting MP Ababu Namwamba.
While dismissing the latest calls for a Luhya unity and getting into the debate, Wanjala questioned loyalty of some leaders whom he describes as cheap and easily bought. He cleverly singled out Ababu whom he didn't have any good words for.
"Luhya people have always had a chance to lead this country, they have numbers, brains and capacity to prove wrong those who think that running mate is our second name. But, with current reckless, foolhardy, pulicity politics witnessed in the recent past, politics of 'pesa nane' and then retreat, because even your sympathizers saw it as miscalculated move, 'you' will fail at the national level same way you have failed at the 'grassroots'.
You cant be a party luminary when at constituency level you are a 'lame duck'.
I fully support Luhya union (party) but traitors must be isolated from the loyalists." Stated Wanjala.
