You may have noted the prolonged absence of Teacher Wanjiku from Churchill show, and many have been wondering she is up to. We have established that the funny teacher is no longer on the show due to some disagreements related to the proceeds from the airtel endorsement.

It is believed that Laugh Industry, makers of the Churchill show wanted to take 55 percent of the 6 million shillings she made from the endorsement. This led to bitter fallout between Teacher Wanjiku and Churchill, which has seen her locked out of the show in recent times.

Her new husband, Victor Ber, who is also the director of Churchill Show, is supporting his wife in this issue, creating further tensions between him and Churchill which have started to affect the company’s events.   The fallout between Churchill and the show director is one of the reasons why the much publicised Churchill Show recording in Mombasa did not take place on 31st December.

The tensions that have rocked laugh industry; have also affected other company events such as the kid’s festival, which has been held every school holiday in the past five years. Kid’s festival did not take place this December.

Wanjiku and Ber quit heartstrings Ensemble four months ago, after their love affair led to fallout between the company directors.
