Former television presenter Esther Arunga was freed on bail Friday as details emerged that her husband killed their son thinking he was possessed. 
The court granted Ms Arunga bond on the condition that she does not approach any airport or contact her husband. 
 
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the prosecution told the court that Quincy Timberlake, who has since been charged with murder, punched the three-year-old in the stomach. 
 
The prosecutor, Sergeant Scott Pearson, told the court that at first Ms Arunga and her husband had told investigators that their son died after he fell down a flight of stairs. 
Ms Arunga later changed her story and sent faxes saying her husband was mentally ill. 
 
The former anchor told investigators that her husband punched their son hard on the stomach “while trying to expel demons and aliens”. 
 
The prosecutor told the court that the son fell down and tried to hide behind her mother but Mr Timberlake picked him up and threw him into a wall, leaving dents. 
 
According to the Australia Broadcasting Corporation, Sergeant Pearson said Ms Arunga told investigators she heard her husband yell: "Come out, come out you bloodsuckers. Tell Bill Gates no more scientific tests on our own as he did with the Guatemalans."Ms Arunga, the prosecutor said, picked up her son again but he was limb and lifeless. 
 
The case will be mentioned on October 20, 2014. 
 
Mr Timberlake was charged last week with the murder of their child, Sinclair Timberlake, on June 18 at their home in Kallangur in north Brisbane, Australia.</div>

Journalist Ramah Nyang who has confirmed his position as an atheist could face more criticism from a religious country as Kenya. 
 
He is quoted saying, "I'm an atheist. I was raised as a Christian in a Christian family, but as I grew older and studied it, in detail, I realised that Christianity adds no value to my life. As a way of life, it is untenable." 
 
In a defensive post, Ramah goes further to justify his stand on atheism saying,"you can believe that Enkai, Ngai, Allah, Yahweh etc created the planet and give life if you want. Empirically, however, that doesn't make it fact. There's also a logical inconsistency in arguing that Yahweh, for example, created the universe to the exclusion of all other 'deities'. Allah & his followers make the same claim. If neither of you can empirically prove your position, all you're left with is blind"

Dennis Onsarigo, has been trying to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of Louis Otieno’s late girlfriend, Careen Chep-chumba, who died back in 2012 under controversial circumstance,meet various obstacles in the pursuit including Careens parents refusing on making an appearance on the program even though the largely suspected Louis obliged.

And it has now emerged that she wrote a letter to Louis before she met her death. The short-letter was found lying next to her lifeless body and it read 
 
 “I wish they would let me do my way. Even if we are not together, you are still in my heart.You will still remain so dear to me Louis.” 
 
According to pathologists who carried a post-mortem on her body, she met her death after being strangled. 
 
Apparently, the person who carried out the heinous act had s3x with her and also seemed very close to her. 
 
After strangling her to death, he tucked her lifeless body in between the sheets and left. 
 
It also emerged that it was her brother whom she was last seen with when he dropped her home that fateful night. It goes without mention that the mother held some bitterness towards her daughter which could have been deep rooted. She didn't know where she lived but only the brother and brother did. 
 
Surprisingly, it was Careens brother who discovered her lifeless body and did not touch neither raised alarm to the neighbors instead called police, suspicious. 
 
The letter which Careen had.supposedly written was in ink,however, the dad made a selective print out, nobody but them knew what it entailed. 
 
Forensic investigations failed to dust her body to get most vital evidence that could have been easily used to nail the suspects. Its worthy noting the dad and brother refused to have a DNA test done on them. In a quick move he publicly stated to have forgiven the murderers of her daughter. 
 
On the fateful night, Louis Otieno was reportedly in Mombasa that being the case the person Who strangled Careen is said to be very close to her such that he had consensual sex with her before the murderer. Who is this person? The last person she was seen with was her brother. 
 
 
Guards who manned the apartment where Careen lived claim that they last saw her being dropped by her brother outside the apartment. 
 
But no one knows what happened to Careen between the time she was dropped outside her apartment and the time she met her death. It beats logic why such a secure apartment could fail to intercept all the movements around. 
 
Nobody knows who killed her though reports indicates its someone really close to her and were both familiar sexually. Who? Why? Mysteries that are unresolved and shall remain.</div>

The president is seen photographed when he visited the Kenya’s Pledged Force ( KPF) that has been training in Archer’s Post, Samburu County to join the East African Standby Force. He was taken through a series of training programmes and exercises that KPF underwent to evaluate and validate the force ahead of the full operational capacity of the East African Standby Force. 
 
 The 1,176 force will be part of an African Union initiative that can be mobilized to resolve conflicts and keep peace in the continent.
