While speaking to sexually charged morning show on classic fm Kuria said," That woman is mad. Millie is mad. She just went there and stripped. Nobody tried to undress her. She undressed herself. Hardly a week after I publicly demanded the resignation of President Uhuru Kenyatta for abdication of duty in respect to protection of the lives and property of Kenyans, reports today indicate that another 36 defenceless civilians have been brutally murdered by suspected militia in Mandera, where only two weeks ago the Country witnessed the massacre of dozens of civilians traveling in a bus. 
 
I want to remind Uhuru Kenyatta and the individuals who sit at the National Security Council that these fatal attacks and the systematic killings of unarmed civilians at the rates unfolding in Kenya is tantamount to perpetuation of GENOCIDE which is a serious crime against humanity. These are the characteristics of a failed state. It must be clear that in the eyes of the international justice system that those responsible for this be it through their acts of omission or commission are as guilty as the attackers themselves. It is unacceptable and this cannot continue any longer. 
 
It would appear, the nerve centre of Kenya’s insecurity problem stems from President Uhuru Kenyatta's politicization of the security apparatus by flooding top echelons of the security organs with individuals who are politically subservient to him yet are disastrously incompetent and lack technical capacity on security matters. 
 
Kenyans are sick and tired of press conferences and public rallies. Kenyans demand protection for all and they want it now! 
 
Mass action is now inevitable to force President Uhuru Kenyatta to resign if he can not effectively discharge his cardinal responsibility of protecting the lives and property of Kenyan citizens but is ironically obligated to protect Somalis by deploying our troops to that country.Meanwhile,the United Nations Security Council should immediately step in and send in troops to protect Kenyans.</div>

Its no secret that the late Senator Hon Otieno Kajwang' was one of the undoubted loyalists left with Raila Odinga. Coming from a region of Nyanza seen to be rebelling against Raila, Kajwang' was ODM's strong man in the south Nyanza region. 
 
His untimely death caught many with surprise and scathing grief. One of those heavily affected is one Raila Odinga who has now not only lost a foot soldier but a close friend as well.

Homabay Senator Hon.Otieno Kajwang' died suddenly at Mater Hospital last night following a cardiac arrest that struck at around 9pm at his Nairobi home. 
 
He was later rushed to the hospital where he lost his life while undergoing first aid. 
 
The Senator was normal earlier and attended the Senate sessions even having drinks with colleagues at the Parliament later into the night.

Abdullahi on Tuesday declared that he would not offer any apology to Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph ole Lenku for statements he posted on Twitter linking him to a land tussle. 
 
Through a letter to the CS’s lawyer, Mr Donald Kipkorir of KTK Advocates, Mr Abdullahi responded to a letter sent to him on Tuesday demanding an apology. 
 
Mr Abdullahi called the demand utter nonsense, stating that he could justify every word he tweeted about the CS. 
 
His letter reads in part, “What reputation or character are you talking about? What hatred, ridicule or contempt are you talking about? To quote the now famous words of American owner of Liverpool Football Club, ‘what are you smoking over there?’…” 
 
He then goes on to tell Mr Lenku that he must kidding for making the demands. 
 
The tweets that sparked the letter exchanges between the two were posted by Mr Abdullahi on Saturday. 
 
“Where does one turn to when the cabinet sec in charge of security ole lenku storms and takes over your farm ala mugabe style?” read the first tweet. 
 
NGURUMAN FARM 
 
Mr Abdullahi went on to post, “Yesterday and today ole lenku with 500 maasai warriors and 75 GSU officers took over by force Nguruman farm. He arrested all 76 workers.” 
 
The land in question was said to have belonged to a Kenyan of European origin, and Mr Abdullahi, who is representing the owners, said he and his clients called police officers, including the inspector-general of police, and they said they could not touch the CS. 
 
Mr Abdullahi later added another tweet about the CS, “This is what happens when a doorman in 2 star hotel becomes … CS in charge of nation's security. He starts stealing from his neighbours.”

I have been unwell for the last two weeks I think ni Ebola ya Hague. I have been accused & named by my colleagues in the CORD coalition as one of the beneficiaries or grabbers who grabbed the Karen land just because I was spotted at the scene (land in question). I wish to respond as here under: 
To be spotted at the scene doesn't mean or give evidence that my presence there was purposely to grab the land in question. I have been successfully fighting for reposession of public land and schools for a couple of years now including visa oshwal school in westlands, Buruburu girls school; Langata high school; Kamkunji Secondary School; st. Catherine primary school; Huruma children's home and now Nairobi school playground. 
I was approached by an elderly widow aged 89 yrs old who is alleged to be the official claimant and administrator of the estate of her late husband Mr. Mburu who until his death, was the former Nairobi County PC and who was the legal registered bonafide owner of the 134 acres land in question in Karen. The poor widow further alleged that Dagama Rose who's currently claiming to be the owner was an advocate of their family when her late husband was alive and she has been trying for years to fight back for the land in vain. Apart from the document she availed to me were newspaper cuttings of the same case he raised some 2 years ago but she could not pursue her right after unknown people called to threaten her. Kisumu Massacre (1969) was a massacre in Kisumu of ethnic Luo by the Security personnel of the Late President Jomo Kenyatta. It took place on October 25, 1969. 
 
The President Jomo Kenyatta, visited Kisumu to open the 'Russia' hospital that was a pet project of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga. Most of all, he wanted to stamp his power on the region where his rule was most unpopular. He was received by a hostile crowd that waved placards written 'Where is Tom (Mboya)?' This implied that Kenyatta knew and/or had a hand in the death of Tom Mboya. The crowd also began to chant 'Dume! Dume!' which was the symbol of the Jaramogi-led opposition, KPU. This angered Jomo who told Ker Jaramogi that had they not been friends he would have crushed him like 'maize flour'. Jaramogi said that the Luo were unhappy with Kenyatta's leadership. As they exchanged harsh words, the crowd got hostile. 
 
The security personnel of Jomo fired into the crowd leaving more than 18 dead on the spot and hundreds injured. The venue was filled with unsuspecting children and teachers who were to perform poems and songs for the president. Many of them met their end. The presidential security continued to fire on people travelling along the presidential route until Jomo Kenyatta was safely out of Nyanza leaving a blood bath in their wake. 
 
Excerpt from that fateful day October 25,1969 just before the Kisumu Massacre 
 
Finally Kenyatta began to address the 
assembled crowd. The president of 
Kenya, visibly enraged, addressed his hosts and his countrymen and women, 
the people of luoland, with the following 
words translated into English from the 
Swahili used: 
“Now I want, before opening this 
hospital, to say a few words, and I will start with the Swahili proverb which 
states that , “Thanks of a donkey are its 
hind kicks”. We have come here to bring 
you luck, to bring a hospital that is for 
treating the citizens, and now there are 
some writhing little insects, little insects of the KPU, who have dared to come here 
to speak dirty words, dirty words. I am 
very glad to be with my friend Odinga, 
who is the leader of these people here. 
And I wish to say that, if it were not for 
the respect I have for our friendship, Odinga, I would have said that you get 
locked up today, so that we see who 
rules over these citizens, whether it is 
Kanu or some many little insects who 
rule over this country. On my part I say 
this, if these people are dirty, if they bring about nonsense. We shall show 
them that Kenya has its government. 
They dare not play around with us, and 
you, Bwana Odinga, as an individual, you 
know that I do not play around. I have 
left you free for a long time because you are my friend. Were it not so, you 
yourself know what I would have done. 
It is not your business to tell me where to 
throw you; I personally know where. 
Maybe you think I cannot throw you into 
detention in Manyani because you are my special friend….. and therefore today I 
am speaking in a very harsh voice and 
while I am looking at you directly, and I 
am telling you the truth in front of these 
people. Tell these people of yours to 
desist. If not, they are going to feel my full wrath. And me, I do not play around 
at all. They are chanting Dume, dume…

The 134 acre parcel of land worth Sh8 billion has caused a dispute between businessman Da Gama Rose and former NSSF managing trustee Jos Konzolo. 
 
Da Gama Rose's lawyer, Cecil Miller, on October 10 wrote to Ngilu accusing her personal assistant, Mary Ndunga, and Nairobi AP commander Francis Mburu, of presiding over the “invasion” of the land on October 4 and supervising construction on it despite a court order. 
 
Ngilu on Wednesday denied the claims and asked the EACC to investigate the issue. 
 
“I have thoroughly interrogated Ndunga and she has no knowledge of the land in question, let alone having been on it on October 4,” she said.</div>

For all its hyping, propaganda and media obsession,Kenyatta’s homecoming was deficient of the oomph and color that characterized CORD leader and father of modern democracy in Kenya, Raila Odinga’s homecoming sometime this year. 
 
By any comparison,Odinga’s homecoming dwarfed that of Kenyatta by far, rendering the former the master of politics that can capture the national mood. 
 
Even with powerful state machinery that wasted the over 6 man hours – President Uhuru wasted the country’s working hours by deciding, with lots of impunity, to use the single route that poor Nairobi working class, and the tarmacking class, trek daily on, in search of the elusive job. 
 
From JKIA to Harambee House thousands thronged the busy route to ‘glimpse’ at the President, an unknown man in the streets of Nairobi. Save for television images and newspaper photos of Uhuru Kenyatta, the man, an embodiment of the political and financial creme de la creme of the country, is a total stranger to daily working people. 
 
Those with no option at their work places work up by 4am, with many arriving at work minutes to noon. 
 
Not everyone was amused, even as all got overwhelmed with the excesses of state power, from police to military to media, that completely scripted Uhuru’s return as some triumphant breakthrough for the nation. 
 
“Uhuru Kenyatta came back to the country to a rapturous welcome. Deservedly or not, that is politics of your heart and discernment. Call it PR, call it politics, call it whatever, but one thing has and might never be solved… The case itself. Whether you feel Uhuruto are innocent or not, that is your debate. My thought is, the further we sweep 2007 under the carpet and say ‘Kenyans have Moved on’ the more pain we cause ourselves. I celebrate the Presidency, since it is a sign of National Unity. But I pray for whoever it was that lost an arm, a leg, a loved one or their own life. I still feel bitter for someone who hurt me three years ago, and I imagine whoever was a victim from wherever may have a more grieving script. Unless we heal that and forget that politicians are a passing wind, then we are digging a certain grave for our children in the future. Remember, 2007 was a culmination of many years worth of agony. Call it names, but PR will not solve the underlying issue. They may be just thousands of victims to the millions who have ‘moved on’. But it is the same thousands who will give birth to the future’s millions. Let us not only play the gimmick we like playing, but pray and do something positive too for these crop of forgotten few. They have a log in their hearts, the only people who can move those logs, is ourselves,” observed a passive onlooker. 
 
For all its drama, Uhuru’s return remains a paid for entertainment break for a country lost in its own internal contradictions, and, global failures. 
 
His empty call for an end to tribalism (ujaluo, ukikuyu, ukalenjin) has been met by chuckles, if deafening laughter, as national statistics reveal his government is an exclusive hegemony of his own Kikuyu community, assisted technically by members of his Deputy’s Kalenjin community. For all his pious call to end tribalism, President Uhuru has consistently refused to make known all public appointments under his regime, for the monster – tribalism – is hidden in the high figures. In short, without concrete action, President Kenyatta lacks the moral authority to pitch against tribalism. 
 
Egregiously, while at the ICC, where he endured three hours of pensive listening, the victims lawyer effusively opposed termination of his case, quoting the wanton neglect of victims of 2007-08 post election violence. Uhuru and Ruto have run a government whose magnanimity begins with kikuyus, and Mt. Kenya, and ends with kalenjins, regardless of the situations of the other 40. While their candidacy promised to unite the country, and went ahead to unite their two communities, their presidency has been the most discriminatory in so short a time that it dwarfs any other current regime under the sun, save for Syria under the ruthless monster called Bashar Assad! 
 
The big question is whether President Uhuru realizes the need to unite the country with deeds, not empty rhetoric scripted, allegedly, by a British PR company, BTP Advisers. Propaganda is good for ‘politics of the moment’ but disastrous for nations. History is replete with leaders, elites and government regimes which tried it, and, lost their nations in it. 
 
In our view, Uhuru’s return should not be tweeted away in utter mindlessness. Let us discuss it and, beyond the roadshows and pettiness of photoshopped images, come to a public judgement that the country should move on with substantive attempt at reconciliation, development, respect for political pluralism and love for honesty.

A few days ago, the Country was treated to rare and most unexpected attacks on Hon. Raila Odinga and Taita Taveta Governor Hon. Salim Muvrya, when the two leaders in the company of other Cord leaders, addressed a public rally in Kwale. The purpose of the rally was to drum up support for Cord’s initiated Referendum process. It was variously reported that a middle aged man who infact appeared haggard emerged from the crowd at the Kwale Rally and hit both Hon Odinga and Governor Muvrya with a walking stick. 
 
He was subsequently overpowered and disarmed. In the local media, conflicting reasons were advanced for his action. In one media report, it was said that the man got worked up because he had missed handouts which was allegedly given to the people at the rally. Although there was no such handout given. Another media report stated that the man was mentally unstable and yet another one said he was fed up with the calls for Referendum. 
 
However, CORD luminaries and particularly firebrand Eliud Owalo has mentioned one Sonko as the one behind the attack,"the truth has now emerged that the Senator in fact hired the man to commit the heinous act.Confessions have comeforth from the man’s accomplices that he was given a down payment of Ksh.30,000 to do the dirty job." Owalo quoted saying. 
 
Sonko has since come out dismissing these allegations saying they have no base. However, Nairobi Exposed went back digging to the Senator's initial reaction and subsequent posts on his Facebook account. The tone in the posts obviously not painting a disappointed man at least as compared to the Migori's incident.

We all know Raila is referred to as BABA but he referred to his as BABU now simple analysis would tell one that to him Raila is an old folk which is understandable given his political arena 
Previously, Sonko is on tape in a group of other jubilee sycophants who included musician Jaguar with one businessman saying they'll silence Raila. Sonko is also on record saying that he'll deal with Raila at one point telling a rally that he will do something to the Babu that he will never forget. 
 
That said, there's no direct evidence that the Nairobi Senator indeed paid the attacker though his statements on Raila could easily make one believe that he did it.

From giving opposition media blackouts to now aiding sales of the master's propaganda. Having secured the public's trust, the Kenyan media is slowly but steadily drifting from being factual and adopting the VAT journalism. 
 
The worrying trend has got several veteran scribes in the industry in a worrying mode. Nairobi Exposed collected opinions from several of these comrades. 
 
"Kenyan journalists need a refresher course. Just last week, they picked propaganda from social media and claimed the man who whipped Raila in Kinango was mad, and was irritated by his wife who was dancing at the dias with the VIPs. It was further written that a 40 year old, was a mzee. Well it later emerged otherwise." Writes Mosoku Geoffrey a writer with one of the leading local dailies. 
 
 "And yesterday, we still picked rumours that several heads of state from AU will accompany President Uhuru Kenyatta to ICC. In fact it was suggested that Uganda's Yoweri Museveni has cancelled Independence celebrations to join the bandwagon. Why are we journalists he'll bet on pleasing the system? Where is our professionalism? Why can't we verify simple facts." Mosoku goes further to state. 
 
Use of alarmist headlines, sensationalism of news is on the offing with Kwale incident being the most played. One would easily be made to believe that the following are from yellow journalists and damned when you realize otherwise

How can a whole respected media house with "professional" News Editors, Editors and experienced newsroom staff publish sensationalised information just to sell their paper or gain readership and viewership. It was wrong to publish or to disseminate/propagate that East African Presidents which include Uganda Head of State Yoweri Museveni and Rwanda's Paul Kagame including other noble and respected government officials and dignitaries. Journalism in Kenya has turned to be either Government propaganda mouth piece or it has just lost direction in Uhuru Kenyatta's regime, it needs to be resuscitated back to life." 
 
Maxwell Wasike also another journalist goes further to reveal what could be the eating factor, "Kenyan media myself being part of is total crap they have failed to adress real issues expected of them all they do is violate journalism standards by pushing agenda and propagate propaganda for their regionmates."

On Monday the former prime minister took his Okoakenya campaigns to Kwale accompanied by his able team. Everything was upbeat until one man attacked the CORD leader hitting him twice with a walking stick. 
 
The unfortunate accident would then open up the can of tribalism, unethical, ridiculous jar in the media fraternity. The news as many was first broken via social media and the language used totally uncalled for but well calculated to suit their spirits. 
 
The most synonymous headline across all boards was 'Raila CANED' now this is belittling in the context it was put. In journalism there is a rule which states its not the story that matters but how you tell it. The news angle or rather how the journalist want the story to be told is mostly led by own feelings most of the times. 
 
For instance, in Raila's case it would be for me 'Raila attacked by a strange man at his rally ' that is a bit ethical or maybe not according to where you stand,compare that to this, "Raila caned,Raila whipped..... " these words are carefully chosen to not only report the incident but MAJORLY to ridicule and make fun out it. 
 
Kenyan media clearly went into a celebratory mode hiding in the name od reporting Citizen even disrupted normal functions to transmit Obadiah live from the field. The reporter who seemed to have broken the news first, he even goes ahead to give advice on how the Pm's security should ,the mood in his choice of words totally celebratory. To him it was so bad it amounted into beatings, wow.
